Back From Alaska

We returned from our 14-day adventure late Friday night.  During our trip, I uploaded a few pictures each day so the folks back home could see what we were up to.  Internet access was spotty and slow, so I only posted a few pictures per day. You can see those photos in our online photo gallery.

When we got home, I realized that as a group, we’d taken over 3000 photos. I haven't had a chance to look through them, to sort out the ones that were out of focus, or that caught a reflection off a window, or that got blocked by someone's head. I haven't had a chance to crop, color-adjust, or do any other sort of editing, and I haven't even begun to add captions to tell when and where they all were taken. That's obviously going to be a long process.

In the meantime, I've started to upload low res images of all 3000 Alaska photos for those who are curious. The digital cameras we brought also allowed us to record videos, though I'll warn you in advance that the resolution isn't great on any of them. The photos appear in chronological order, and they are roughly grouped by day.

When she could get internet access, Audrey kept a blog during the trip to tell her friends about what she was doing. Hannah kept a written journal, which she is beginning to transcribe on to her website, HannahLahman.com. Also, Ryall and Kara have posted the photos that they took in Alaska online.
